Who was given the “Many Men (Wish Death)” instrumental before 50 Cent?

In this video, Darrell “Digga” Branch, the producer who made the beat for 50 Cent’s classic song “Many Men (Wish Death)” tells the background story about the track. The beat wasn’t originally meant to be given to Fifty. Even tough the song came out in year 2003 (on 50’s album “Get Rich Or Die Tryin'”), Digga made the beat in 1999. and first gave it to Dipset crew. Cam’ron, Juelz Santana and Jim Jones even recorded a song to it, but it was never released for whatever reason. He then gave the beat to Nas who was working on a new album at the time, but the beat didn’t make the cut. According to Digga, 50 Cent heard the beat in one of Nas’ beat listening sessions and then called Digga and told him that he wants to use the beat for a new song. Fifty definitely blessed this track with his dope rhymes and great chorus writing ability.
